The Phony Restaurant Racket, Part 1

Master than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leave cloud buildings at a single bound. Up on the sky, it's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman. Kellogg's PEP. E-E-PEP. Kellogg's PEP. The sunshine cereal presents the adventures of Superman.

Today a Superman rockets its way to Periwite prison. Very white prison. The gray haired editor bravely defies his miserable cap-tores. Despite the imminent death sentence, hang over him. Hello there, gang. This is your pal Dan McCullough.

You know, I'm sure you've had lots of prizes, but I'll bet none of them ever gave you more fun than these nifty comic buttons in that new series that you're all collecting from packages of kebog's pet.

First off, it's exciting to see which button is inside every time Mom opens a package of pet. There were eighteen new and different buttons in this new series, you know, old, funny, paper, favorites like Flash Gordon and Brenda Starr and Cindy and Spud from Morning Winkle and The Little Moose and Goofy and Beasy from Harold Team and Judy and Karky from Gasoline Alley

and Superman, of course. And say if you happen to get a duplicate, why then it's even more fun to trade with your pals and just still get a new button for your collection to wear with your others on your jacket or your dress or cap.

So get busy gang, collect all eighteen different buttons in this new series. You just ask mom to get you some Kellogg's pet. You don't send in any money, not even a box stop. Now you can't buy these prizes anywhere, but you just look inside every package of Pepp you open, and there's your new comic button.
