The super delicious cereal presents the adventures of Superman. That's good on a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. It was a lethal building to the single bound. Up on the sky, it's a bird.
It's a plane. It's Superman. Yes, it's Superman, strange visitor from another planet, who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Superman, defender of law and order, champion of equal rights, planning courageous fighter against the forces of hate and prejudice.
Today, on the distant surface of the moon, the man of steel wages a strange battle, a battle with the planet's huge flying mammals. We'll learn the outcome in a moment, but right now, let's join Dan McCalland as young pal Russi, who is trying to work out a problem in mathematics.
Two, eight, twelve, carry one, and that's not right. Hey Dan. How many servings in the package of Kellogg's pets? You mean regular servings or that big bowl full of you eat every morning? Well, half and half I guess.
Well, you can't figure that way, Rusty. What are you trying to do? Well, you see, I've collected 14 pet comic buttons and I'm trying to figure out how soon I'll have all 18 in the series.
Well, it depends on a lot of things. Swapping duplicates, for instance. You know, you've got to scout around and find out who has just the right one to trade with you. Yeah, I know, and it depends on how soon our family empties these boxes of Kellogg's pets too.
Sure, and from what I've seen, that's pretty often. I guess it won't be long. Boy, oh boy, I can hardly wait until I've done all 18 of those comic buttons pinned on my cat. Well, most all the fellas and girls feel that way rusty, because every single one of those 18 buttons is a real humdinger.
