Presenting the transcription feature, Superman! First, it's a plane, it's Superman! Yes, it's Superman! Strange visitor from the planet Krypton, who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Superman, who can leap tall buildings of a single bound, race a speeding bullet to its target, send, steal in his fair hand, and who decides this Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter
for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights a never-ending battle for truth and justice. And now to our story. Arrested for having been involved in the shooting of Catherine Robling, Clark Kent refuses to clear himself with the district attorney, preferring to remain in jail. But there's a method in Kent's seeming madness. Having heard of a Dr. Robling's voice
machine that a man named Benson, the prisoner in the jail, has remarked for murder, Kent decides to remain on the spot. However, editor Perry White enraged that his star reporters apparently insane behavior sends Lois Lane to the jail to talk him out of it, but instead Kent tells Lois the truth and asks her to get him some information about Benson and about
a racketeer named Duke responsible for the plot against Benson's life. As Lois is about to leave the cell Kent discovers a dictograph hidden under the mattress of his bed. Listen. Are you sure that's what it is?
Positive. Someone's been listening to every word I said. Well, free performance is over I just ripped a wire out of the microphone. That's it. You better beat it, Lois. I thought I decided to hold you too.
Shh. You got the card. No. You're five minutes is up, complain. I'm ready. Well, bye, Clark. Bye. I hope everything turns out alright. Oh, I'm sure it will, Lois. Thanks for coming to see me.
