reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights a never-ending battle for truth and justice. But before we join Superman, listen. And now to our stories. A series of mysterious accidents have been plaguing automobiles bound for the Baro Dude Ranch.

When Jimmy Olsen, who had been spending several weeks at the ranch, learned that the accidents had been caused by a strange ghost car, he called Clark Hint. Hint could scarcely credit the story. When that telephone conversation was cut short abruptly, he decided to go to the ranch and investigate.

Lois Lane insisted on accompanying Kent and the two arrived at the Mountain Village of Rocky Point, only to learn that no one would drive them to the ranch after dark, because of the ghost car rumour.

Kent finally rented a car from the station agent and he and Lois have started out for the ranch, with the agents warning still ringing in their ears. Blowing the rickety old car winds its way along the dusty road.

And then suddenly... No, look out! That's all! Coming right at us! Hang on Lois, I've got to turn off the road! We're gonna cry! Ah! Oh! Lois, Lois, are you all right? Oh... Oh, she's unconscious. I better get her out of the car.

Me too. Easy, Lois. Oh... Easy now, you're all right. It's all over. Oh, car, those headlights. What happened? That car came tearing out of the tunnel right at us. And I had to run off the road to avoid a collision.
