And whenever a ship passed the island, the sirens would sing an irresistible song, and the sailors would head for the island and dash their ship against the rocks and drown. It seemed that no ship could pass the island safely.

In one day, a brave young sailor took his crew to sea, and said a chorus passed the island of the sirens, so that the men could not hear the sirens song. He filled their ears with wax.

When the sirens saw the ship coming, they began their song. Then, when they saw that the sailors could not hear the sirens sent copies of the sheep music to the ship, which shortly after dashed itself into the rocks.
