Fruitcakes

Stop is jazz-fest in New Orleans. We're just getting warmed up. Anyway, it did not go unnoticed that somehow, I don't know, we got off track or I had a senior moment. We didn't make it through the Carolinas last year so we we made sure that the fruit cakes from all over Carolina were more than satisfied this year.

Just like the Derek Queen, we got a double dip this year. Yeah, but I was thinking before I got here, you know, I wrote this song a long time ago. It's in the world, it's got a little crazy out there if you haven't noticed lately.

So I thought I would try to kind of update this song like putting a fresh coat of paint on a good running car, a new set of sails on a hot sailboat, some fruitcakes, 2008, the North Carolina version, are you ready?
