One Norwegian is not aiming enough for the life of a German soldier. As an example to the rest of the population, everyone of their leaders will be shot. Yes, tomorrow morning their leaders will be shot.
But tomorrow night, new leaders will rise to lead Norway's desperate struggle for freedom. In the heroic Norwegian underground, the cauldron of liberty sees and boils. Her secret army, Harris, is the Nazi invader, striking suddenly in the darkness.
It's one thing to fight soldiers. Those are ghosts. They are not ghosts. They are unconquerable Norweetons. We've seen their homes ravaged. We've heard the anguished cries of their women in the night. Simple little people turn to giants by their imperishable love for freedom.
Karen, of where to fight? Errol Flynn is Gunnar Brog, gallant leader of Norway's offenging underground. Anne Sheridan is Karen, a girl fighting for more than the right to live. Walter Houston, helmet Dantine, Judith Anderson, Ruth Gordon, Nancy Coleman.
I hate them. I cannot stand to be with them any longer. Do you think you can stop the working of my brain and my heart? You cannot win. But peace is there when a body of troops can come in the middle of the night and arrest you as a hostage.
We shot. Something you never did, though never even thought of. Our people won't stand it much longer. Soon we'll have to fight.
