The Firebrand

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Tonight Lady Esther presents the screengilled players and the firebrands. The prime is the year 1500. The place is Florence Italy. And the plot? Well, even in those days it all boiled down to this. Douglas Fairbanks meets girl. Frank Morgan meets girl. Both chase girl. Virginia Field is girl. Oh boy!

And now you're about to meet history's first glamour boy, Ben Venuto Cellini. Our first glimpse at the celebrated artist Cellini is more dashing than romantic. Oh, you've been fighting again. Amelia, my faithful servant, you will not fail me. Go to the cardinal. Tell him you must speak to the Duke in my behind. Oh, instantly master. Oh, I'm a dead man.

Master. What is it, Angela? Amelia said you wish me to pose. Shall I change if I cast you? Change? No, no, no. I cannot work today. The hangman is too close. But Amelia says... But I see you only when I have a chisel in my hands.
