Yes tonight another memorable musical success is brought to you by the American railroads The same railroads that bring you the food you eat the clothes you wear the fuel you burn and the multitude of other things you use in your daily life

And now here is our star Gordon MacRae Thank you. Thank you very much and good evening ladies and gentlemen as our singing Christmas greeting to you We have selected Walt Disney's enduring and lovely snow white in the Seven Dwarfs And I'm going to tell it to you tonight, just as I've often told it to my three children.

Ready? Close your eyes and sort of dream with me. Once upon a time, the lived a lovely little princess named Snow White. Her wicked stepmother, the Queen, feared that someday Snow White's beauty would be greater than her own.

So she dressed the little princess in rags and forced her to work as a scullery maid. Today the Vane Queen consulted her mirror. Magic mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest one of all?

Same desire if you imagine, but hold. And not the amazing. Rites cannot hide her gentle grace. Alas, she is more fair than these. More fair. Reveal her name. Red is the rose, hair like his ebony.

Gin, white is snow, so white. And out on the castle steps scrubbing away was the beautiful, slow white. As she worked, she told the secret since her heart to her friend, the bird. You're all a flop to tell, we are standing by a wishing word.
