Ladies and gentlemen, the Railroad Hour. And here comes our star-studded show train. Tonight, the Association of American Railroad presents the famous Franz Lehar operator, the Merry Widow starring Gordon MacRae and his guest, Doris E. Kirsten.

Our choir is not of the direction of Norman Luboff, and the music is prepared and conducted by Carmen Dragot. Among the millions of listeners to our program tonight are the many members of the National Association of Travel Organizations, which is now holding its 13th annual convention in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

The railroads are happy to salute these men and women who do so much to make travel the great experience it is. And now here is our star, Gordon McRae. Thank you, Marvin Miller. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.

Tonight, the beautiful and glamorous Dorothy Kirsten is the beautiful and glamorous Mary Widow. Madam Sonia, Jack Kirkwood plays Baron Popoff, and I am Prince D'Nilo, a attaché to the Marsovian Embassy in Paris. Where is Prince D'Nilo?

That's Baron Popoff, the Marsovian ambassador calling me. Where is Prince D'Nilo? You see, I'm absolutely indispensable to him. Where is that no good bomb? I'm indispensable. I'm probably wasting your time with that rich and light club Maxime.

Messenger, go down the max theme, see if you can locate Prince Dunilo. Well, if that's where they're going to look for me, maybe that's where I'd better be. If land is calling me to come and work from one to three, Though as there isn't much to do, I only come at half past two.

Diplomacy, it's awesome man, and neither will the work I can, But never ever get too bad Until I paint this town quite red With all my lovely Maxim girls I give them cash instead of booze So all my flons and brunettes say Come out with us tonight and play Eat dash off, wear fun and frolic beans
