09 Dope aka Tommy Wood Killed

A minute I'll give you the identification bureau. Denification bureau, Captain Roberts.

This is the Coleman Guy Webb captain on the riverfront beam. What's up, Webb? A couple of fishermen just reached the cross out of the river down near the low zone wall. Mm, Chinatown, huh? Yeah.

And see, did you identify the corpse? No, sir. Not yet. It's a man. American, about 25 or 30. Where are the corpse now? Laying on the bank beside the war. I got the fisherman guarding it till I get back.

Okay, Webb. Hop back and stay there. I'll be down in about five minutes. If anyone comes and knows and around, hold them. Yes, sir? Got a short call card, I'll pick me up in front.

Uh, got Williams and Murphy. We're making an investigation down on the river. Yes, sir? Where's the web? This way, sir. You better use your light, Captain. This is blackest pitch down there. Don't there any street lights around here?

No, sir. When you pass three blocks back with the last one, despite of the river isn't used very much. Where does this walk you spoke of? Hello, Sunwarp? Yeah. Over there. It's not used anymore except by a few Chinese fishermen.

You say fisherman found the body? Yes, sir. I got their names and their dresses and let them go. Where'd they find it? Under the war, sir. There's weighted down with iron. Mmm. Must have been pitched off the war.

Yeah, that's what I figured, sir. Now here's the body, Captain. Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. Underhand here, Williams and Will drag it out of the water to the farther. Yes, sir. He that water looks black, sir?
