Nick Carter, master detective. Tonight's curious adventure. The corpse in the cab. Or Nick Carter and the mystery of the murder in the park. That's it. That's it. Mr. Ramsey, you are very kind indeed to take such an interest in this problem.

Okay. The leaving is on West 54th Street, and there's a plague out there. Excuse me, uh, the driver. Yeah? Now do you mind if I shut this glass partition between us? Go right ahead, boss. You're a panda fan.

Here, let me do it for you. Well, that's better. Nice winter evening. Stars, drinkling. I ought to pick this up for the grim business ahead. Ah, lucky thing I ran into you. Lucky thing. Yes, indeed, Mr. Ramsey. It seems fate destined me to make your acquaintances afternoon.

Yes, lucky thing. Just my little way of keeping air out of the windpipe. There you are, my dear fellow. Mighty lucky thing I ran into you tonight. You've got to help me, Nick. You've got it. They'll slap me and stir.
