Thanks, Brian. So, these two broadcasting systems present the mysterious traveler. Written, produced, and directed by Robert A. Arthur and David Sook. Starring one of radio's foremost actors, good carbonate in murder in 4952. This is the mysterious traveler inviting you to join me on another journey of the realm of the grains and the terrifying.

You will enjoy the trip, that it will thrill you, will remove and kill you a little. So settle back, get a good trip on your nerves and be comfortable if you can, as we leap a thousand years into the future to see how the forces of crime and detection may operate then.

It's a story I call murder in 2952. The date, the year 2,952. Mankind has colonized the planet Venus and Mars, and is mining uranium on Mercury while making trips of exploration to the more inhospitable celestial bodies, Saturn, Neptune, and the moons of Jupiter.

But still, life is not so different from life today. There are still men and women, which means loud, jealousy, hatred. And there are still crimes and criminals, which means a police board still live in houses, even though they're very different than the ones we know.

In the living room of one of these houses, a young woman is playing an ancient tune called an ancient musical instrument to an appreciative audience of one. John Malewon, a field researcher for the World Biological Institute.

Hey John, how did you like it? I liked it very much for you. But I never heard it before.

What in the world is it? It's so different from music I'm used to. It's at least a thousand years old, maybe older. I finally score in the musical section of the Library of Congress. You play it very well.
