Written, produced and directed by Robert A. Arthur and David Cogans and starring tonight two of radio's foremost actors Leon Janney and Charlotte Holland in Operation Tomorrow. The mysterious fellow, inviting you to join me on another journey into the realm of the strained and the terrifying. I hope you will enjoy the trips and it will thrill you a little and chill you a little.
So settle back, get a good grip on your nerves and be comfortable if you can, as we journey with a young scientist into the unknown future. It's a story I call Operation Tomorrow. But first a message from the four dealers of America.
Everyone's saying it. The 54th is a great car. Listen to what Mr. Robert Gaiette Jr. of Kingston, Pennsylvania said. One of more than 420,000 new Ford owners. I find that my eight-cylinder 54 gives me remarkable mileage.
Over 18 miles to a gallon. And outside of regular checkups, my 54's never been in the shop for repairs. Another feature I like about it is that in spite of my leaving it out on the street a lot, the finish is still as new looking as when I bought it.
I believe the 54 is the best buy on the road because it costs so little to buy, so little to run, and so little to own. Yes, Ford owners everywhere agree. The big new Ford is the real economy buy.
When you buy a new Ford, you save on Ford's initial low price. And when you drive it, Ford's fine engineering saves on maintenance and operation costs. But get the facts yourself at your nearest four deaters.
Then take the wheel and get the feel of this fine car. Test drive the new Ford. My story begins in a scientific laboratory. Cut out of a solid rock, many feet beneath New York City University.
