Mutual presents the mysterious traveler, written, produced and directed by Bob Arthur and David Colgan. Good to you! This is the mysterious traveler, inviting you to join me on another journey into the realm of the strange and the terrifying.

I hope you will enjoy the trip, that it will thrill you a little and cheer you a little. So settle back, get a good rip on your nerves and be comfortable, if you can. And by the way, did you have a good vacation this summer?

A nice quiet time, no unusual excitement, no unpleasant event that shook your nerve, so that you jump when a strain hand knocks on your window at midnight or a slow, heavy footsteps come up to your door?

That's good. Then you're in shape to go on another vacation with me tonight. It's the story I call... The spot I have in mind for your vacation is a tiny harbor along the northern main coast.

light bulb, a fumbler. That's her favorite word to describe me. Well she's going to find out it's not true. But I mustn't get excited. I won't be able to fish as if I... I might not keep calm.
