this means Johnson's immediate capture, Mrs. Gregory and the Captain are sure Jerry is being compelled to send the message by someone aboard the submarine. Just as the captain and And Mrs. Gregory start to do something about it.

They hear a rush of water. Captain Bradford runs out on the yacht deck and sees water pouring into the lock. Hurry up, Pat. Get out here quick. We've got to leave this boat. What's the matter, Tex?
