This presentation comes to you through the makers of Lux Toilet Soul, direct from the Lux Radio Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, in the hope that your pleasure in listening to

Madame Butterfly equals their pleasure in bringing it to you. Welcome, everyone. Have you ever wondered as you take a cake of Lux Toilet Soul from its wrapper, how can they sell a soap like this for so little?

Well, it's true that Lux Toilet Soul is an amazing value. Will you check off some facts with me? It is made just as the costliest French soaps are made and of the very finest ingredients.

It is mild, pure, snow white. It is delicately fragrant with an exclusive, expensive perfume. It has the special advantage of active lather that prevents choked pores, guards against cosmetic skin. It is only possible to sell a beauty soap like this at a modest price, for so many of you, literally millions of you, use it and keep on using it.

And surely it is significant that nine out of ten lovely screen stars who can afford to pay any price use inexpensive luxe toilet soap to guard their million dollar complexion. And now, our producer, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Cecil B. DeMille!
