Luck present Harleywood. Leaver Brothers Company, the makers of Luck's Plakes, bring you the Luck Radio Theatre, starring Betty Greybull and Dan Daley in Mother War Tights. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. William Keeley. Greetings from Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen.

Of my many experiences in the theatre, I shall never forget my infrequent appearances in Vaudeville, sandwich, like a knot, between a train seal and a group of acrobats. A looking back that so-called two-day vote-ville routine appears as something typically American, and its boisterous good humor, its colorful variety.

Elements which account I am sure for the success of 20th Century Fox's green-hit Mother War Tights. We present it tonight with its original stars, Betty Grebel and Dan Daley. Mother Ward Tights is the real life story of two lovable troopers, with all the intimate trimmings that accompanied their backstage life.

But no matter how successful you became in Vodville, it was always a makeshift existence, living out of trunks, worrying over props and scenery, washing your costumes in your dressing room. And in the heyday of Vodville, Lux Blake's was a part of almost every act and every actress's equipment.

A blessed means of caring for more precious items of apparel. And I'm sure the same is true today. Actresses who travel and who must care for their own nice things are thankful I'm certain for the convenience and safety of Lux Flakes.

Here's Act 1 of Mother War Tights, starring Betty Gravel as Myrtle McKinley and Dan Daley as Frank Burt. There is for my mother. There she is sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch.

That sweet, that gentle old lady. She's knitting, knitting another sweater for father. Singer like this, who'd ever dream that mother ever behaved like, well like this. Up with all your might. Oh, mother wore, mother wore tights when she sang that song on stage. Because Heaven's mother how could she?
