Lux presents Hollywood. The Lux Radio Theater brings you Charles Boyer, Moreno Sullivan and Alexis Smith in The Constant Nim. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. Central B. DeVille. Greetings from Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen.

Emotion is the dynamo that makes life go on. Transferred to the footlight, it's the soul of good theatre. and good theatre does not depend upon war or peace. It has a timeless quality that lives beyond the moment, a quality that I believe you will find tonight in the constant nymph.

This moving love story was first a fine novel by Margaret Kennedy, then the play captivated Broadway audiences in the roaring 20, and now in a world at war, the hit motion picture production from Warner Brothers Studio has proved that good drama is always up to date.

In casting tonight's play we naturally followed the lead of the picture and went hunting for Charles Boyer, who gave one of his best performances in the concert Nymph. We also have the promising new Warner star, Mr. Lexus Smith from the picture cast, and rounding out a trio of stars, we've given one of the theatre's prize roles to Marina Sullivan. You know, there's more

through our casting problem than the stars. We always still eat in the smallest part with the best player we can find, because with Lux toilet soap behind the production best in undue good. In the theatre, it's teamwork to count.

And I believe that's true of every successful venture, whether it's putting on a play for an audience of 30 million or making a soap for all those people. And Lux toilet soap did not happen by accident.
