Let present Hollywood. That's Radio Theatre brings you Rita Hayworth, Don and Michie, and Gail Patrick in the Strawberry Blonde. Tonight the Luck Radio Theatre comes to you from Hollywood as usual, but your producer speaks from New York.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Cecil B. DeMille. Greetings from Broadway, ladies and gentlemen. A Broadway that's just as much a part of the Lux Radio Theatre as Hollywood is. I'm enjoying New York's fine hospitality for a few days, While I wait again for your verdict on a picture that's been more than a year in the making,

reach the wild wind. At long last it opens in New York this week. New York of the past present or future is a city to stir the imagination. And tonight we tempt your imagination with a story of New York in the gay 90s, a play called the Strawberry Blonde. Warner Brothers made a picture

And Danamichi Rita Hayworth and Gayo Patrick, star in our production now. Whatever kind of play you're looking for tonight, we have it. The strawberry blonde is a comedy. One of the best we've had recently.

And it's dramatic. The story of a man who waited years for revenge and then discovered he didn't want it. It's romantic too. Exhibit A, B and C, are Danamichi and two leading ladies. Rita Hayworth and Gayo Patrick.

And on top of everything else, there's music that will bring back long forgotten memories. Memories of the days when you waltzed around with a strawberry blonde who rather than played on. In my annual trek across the country, I always look forward to that personal contact with the Lux Radio Theatre audience that helps keep this theatre in tune with your ideas of entertainment.
