Lux presents Hollywood. The Lux Radio Theatre brings you Irene Donne and Don Emichi in Unfinished Business. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. Cecil B. Demille. Greetings from Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen.

The phrase Unfinished Business can mean a great many things to a great many people. For in the past of every man and every woman, there's some stray tag of adventure still uncompleted. A bit of drama never played to its end, for perhaps a love story, only just forgotten.

All that wide human appeal is part of Gregory LaCava's new universal picture, called Unfinished Business, and we are fortunate tonight in having the radio premiere right here in the Lux Radio Theatre. That gives us Irene Dunne in the same part she played on the screen with Donna Michie as our leading man, and off the record I'll tell you that for months we've been trying

to find a play to fit this potent combination of stars. There have been a lot of stories about the young man from a small town who hunts fame and fortune in the big city. Tonight we have one about a girl with the same intrepid spirit who finds the adventure she's looking for.

But along the way she leaves a scrap of unfinished business and then that lies the dramatic punch that makes this one of the most talked about pictures of the year. Of course there's another drama about unfinished business.

The one called woman's work is never done. But I suggest that it's done a whole lot quicker when they have luck flakes in the house. No mere man is supposed to be a competent judge of such technical household matters.
