From Hollywood, California, the Lux Radio Theater presents William Powell and Miriam Hopkins in Tavares. Lux presents Hollywood. Romance, drama and comedy come to you tonight under the title of Tavares, a smashing success of the stage and screen telling the story of two exiled members of the Russian nobility who swapped their ermine for aprons.

Our stars are William Powell and Miriam Hopkins with C. Henry Gordon, Lawrence Grossmith and Heather Thatcher. Our music is conducted by Lewis Silvers, and our special guest is Grand Dr. Marie of Russia. Before hearing from our producer, just a word about the product which brings you this program, Lux Toilets Soap.

This white soap is truly an aristocrat among soaps, for it not only cares for the lovely complexions of nine out of ten Hollywood stars, but lovely women in every village and city, in cottage and mansion alike, like, depend upon its active lather to remove thoroughly, dust, dirt, and stale cosmetics.

They can't afford to risk cosmetic skin. The doneness tiny blemishes and enlarged pores result from choke pores. It's vitally important for these screen stars in the movie spotlight to have skin that's beautiful to look at.

And it's just as important for you. So take Hollywood's tip. Let Luxe taught it so help protect the loveliness of your complexion too. Back on our stage, having opened a new picture union Pacific throughout the country, is our regular producer.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Cecil B. DeMille! Greetings from Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen.
