Lux presents Hollywood, the brothers company, the makers of Lux's pilot soap, brings you the Lux Radio Theater starring Jean Terri and Victor Mature in Laura. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. Irving Cummings. Greetings from Hollywood ladies and gentlemen.

Tonight's drama is such a fascinating combination of mystery and romance, that it is rapidly becoming a classic to the revolted readers of who done it. Perhaps its main attraction is its unusual triangle of characters, the cynical Broadway cardiomist, the soft-spoken detective or the haunting picture of Laura herself.

Regardless of the reason, this intriguing mystery is one of 20th Century Fox's most memorable screen hits. And as our stars, we have glamorous Jean Timmy in her original role, romantically teamed with one of our most popular stars, Victor Matilda.

But first, let's hear from Ken Coppender. I don't know about you, but through the years the carpenters washed a lot of dishes with a lot of different products. And when Leaver Brothers came out with Luxe Liquid Determinate, well, we saw all our dishwashing problems go right down the drain.

Really nothing beats Luxe Liquid for doing dishes fast and easy. Well, you just put one teaspoon full of Luxe liquid into the dishpan, put in the plates and glasses, and your work is virtually done.

Luxe liquid's wonderful up-to-the-minute formula cuts through grease like nothing you've ever seen. The minute you take the dishes out of the dishpan, even before you rinse and stack them, you'll see they're glistening clean. And how, you ask, does Luxe liquid score on mildness?

Well, just as you'd expect a Luxe product too. to my wife, Luxe liquids easier on her hands than anything she's ever used in the dishpan. Of course, another thing we like about Luxe liquid is the way it comes in a can that won't break with that magic dripless spout that ends messy handling.
