And any, then, I believe that's our ring. Hi, Dogy's law, ma. I believe you're right. No, see. Hello, John, I'm down, store. This is love and abner. Let's see what's going on down in past Ridge.

Abner escaped the long arm of the law when his letter to the mail-order house containing counterfeit money was returned for insufficient postage. However, things look no brighter for alum and Cedric. Cedric is still in jail at the county seat, while alum who is out on bail was preparing to go to court tomorrow.

He has been charged with operating a large counterfeiting business. As we look in on the little community today, we find Plum and Abner in their Johnstown store. Lum is trying to straighten up his affairs so that he can leave the store in Abner's charge.

I reckon you may as well. I hate to be going through all our old papers and the stuff that's away. Abner, we got to get everything straightened up and put in order so you can carry on alone.

And don't keep saying alone. That sounds like he ain't never coming back. Yeah, maybe I ain't, I don't know. Oh, now don't feel that way. You ain't as bad over Cedric. He's still locked up around jail.

His popper won't bail him out. Yeah, but they might put me in the pen and tincture for life due to just for a few days. Don't forget, I'm the head of a big counterfeiting ring.

No, you ain't. Now, Argynee Smith is. Yeah, but I'm the one that's accused of it. Yeah. And long as nobody knows where Argynees is at, I don't know how to prove that I ain't the head of it.
