Buys Mousey's Contract

I don't believe that's our ring. I know it's law, my believe you're right. No, see. Hello, Johnum Downstone. This is Ramin' After. Let's see what's going on down in Pine Ridge. Little Mousey Gray, Pine Ridge's amazing contribution to the boxing world, has finally agreed to meet Iron Knight, the Carnival tomorrow night, and attempt to win the $1,000 being offered to the man who can knock out Iron Knight.

but the hitchh is that Mousey is no longer Lumspider at Squire's camp surprised everyone by signing Mousey up for himself. Today as we look in on the little community we find Lumsp and Abner in their jotting down store that Lums has just returned from Squire's office.

A hundred dollars! Yes sir, that's exactly what Squire said. For their land's sake. that if I wanted to buy a mousie's contract and be his boxing manager, I'd have to pay $500 for her. Why that old skin plant? You didn't tell him you'd take it big, you know?

Of course not. Can you afford no $500? Why not? Yeah, I wouldn't make that much even if Mousey did win the fight for my night. Tays $1,000, but Mousey ought to get most of that.

Why sure he ought to use him during the fight and all? No sir, I just told Squire he could keep his old contract. I didn't want to do no business with the feller as under him.

Not at any price. Good for you. So wouldn't he consider our friendship as being unsolved? From now on, him and me would be unspeakable to one another. That's our time. Unless of course he'd come down on the price a little.
