Now for the thrilling adventures of Lightning Jim. Fire, pull in.

It's an Indian attack, Paddy. You're coming to see. Yeah. Look, Paddy, here comes the gas for riding like a wind. Go east of under me at 50 feet. Yeah, look like it. Hey, you fellas, but I had forgotten.

Am red devils just right on my trail. Yeah. There's a safe space to go beyond there. Come on. You make it on port. Let's go from there. Yes, Indian attacks were frequent experiences for the sturdy pioneers of the Old West.

Some of the tribes were friendly to the white men, others resented the taking of their hunting grounds and fought to protect the land they believed was theirs. But the most troublesome of all were the bad Indians who joined up with the criminals and outlaws of the planes to rob and kill the brave white settlers.

Assisting the government troopers and local peace officers to establish and maintain law and order were the fearless and courageous United States marshals. Those colorful days of the Old Western Frontier come back to us now in the thrilling adventures of United States Marshal Lightning Jim Whipple and his deputy, Whitey Lassen.

Lightning Jim and Whitey were on the trail north of Fort Anderson when they heard the shrill war cries of Indians. Then a rider galloped up on a swift black horse and joined the Marshal and his deputy.

The three men rushed for a nearby stage station as the hostile Indians came on. Yeah, these team mates been to school so all the time. Yeah, we got a circle. We can hold them all for a while.

Sure, but we got to save our ammunition. Now don't shoot till they come and rain. Right, we got to make every bullet count. You said a mouthful partner. Look out! You've been in minutes. You're what a close one.
