Ballad of Davy Crockett

David, David Crackett, King of the Wild Frontier. David, David Crackett, King of the Wild Frontier. Born on a mountain top in Tennessee. Greener stayed in the land of the free. Raised in the woods, so he knew every tree.

He killed him a bar when he was only three. David, David's Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier. David, David's Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier. Through the woods he marched along, making up yarns and singing a song.

It's an option for fighting and right and wrong He's rainty as a bear and twice as strong David, David Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier David, David Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier For single handed through the engine war Till the creaks of swift and peace wasn't stored And while he was handling this risky chore

Made his self a legend forevermore David, David Crackett, King of the Wild Frontier Crackett, he sounded the knell Of his hopeful white house and fame as well But when he spoke strong, saw his flip books down And pat it up the crack in the liberty bell!

Crack it! Crack it!
