Cause of Death

to welcome you through the creaking door into the inner sanctum. You'll have to be very quiet tonight because one of our guests is asleep. In the deep. In every pore. But I'm pretty wet over, boy.

You see, we had an nasty habit of... his last voyage with over a large body of water. Out and down there. Inner sanctum, mystery, cause of death, was written by Bob Slo. Very Kroger in the role of Ken with Santa Soteca as Al.

I sit back in your uneasy chair as Ken Griswold tells us he held no terror for a man like me. I'd seen the dead too often lived among them worked among them and to touch the still cold flesh of a corpse was a routine experience

For ten years I'd been the coroner of Redmond County. I've seen death in all its cruel twisted forms And yet, there had never been one like this. It all began up at the lake. Even a coroner has nerves.

So Inspector Al Hendricks gave me a week off, and I would have to grant you large alone. On the third day of my vacation, I was sitting on the lake front door. Turned and saw Al Hendricks coming quickly down the hill.

I'm afraid you'll have to interrupt your vacation. What? You've got to come back to town. Come back to town. When? By the way, I'm driving you in. in. Oh, no. Wait, Al. I have an education in almost three minutes. I know. I know. I wouldn't ask you to come, but it wasn't important. This is a very special case. Why? What's so special

about this case? A woman who was found dead in her house at 11 this morning. That doesn't seem to be any visible reason for her death. It's got to be a reason. So far we can't find one.
