First Meeting with Bush

Call all hands, speak to quarters. Time to bear her. One broad side into her to please, Captain Bush. Point yourself on target. Prince, stop, really. I can read you. I see as far as to his indominable man of the sea.

Or race your horn blower. A little voyage that makes all such days memorable as when looks back on them after a space of years.

But one particular late autumn day comes back to me with living clarity for... It was the first time I set eyes on my old friend William Bush. A meeting which, as things turned out, had lifelong consequence for both of us.

The old Vinaan, Captain Sawyer commanding, Lea Tancarin Spitt-Hedd, completing to see. As luck would have it, I was officer of the what when the new lieutenant reported aboard. The turret bush reported aboard, say, here are my orders. Please stay out of your board sir.

My name is from Bloor. If you got your gear with him, my seatress, for it, yes, by the larbit hat for it. Good. I'll see that it sent your quarters, sir. It's arms! They're off here immediately!

Were you speaking to me, sir? Mr. Hobbs, that part has got to get aboard the four nightfall in tonight. And don't use that tone of voice when replying to an order. If you suck, how are you going to get your men to work?

Well, I'll be working. I'll tell you, Mr. Hobbs. Now, please get back for it and see to it. Aye, aye, sir. I'm not quite as fierce as I saw in Mr. Bush. Once they start sulking, no ship can maintain discipline.
