Santa Claus Hides

You know who I am? You've heard of me off? Some say I'm a sham. But most of you know that cannot be true. For every Christmas you've seen what I do, and now you not only know just what I do, but you dear my old boys, as I'm speaking to you.

Santa's picture quite often I'm sure with these great big white whiskers half down to the floor and these gruddy red cheeks with jolly old smiles and often you wish you could see him a while but children so I'd love to come out of this box I'm really afraid to because of the shocks and all of you get if you saw me come out why you all run away with a terrible shout

O, o, o, o, o, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, Ah, my beautiful mistoo are black to the dirt, and the dust in my eye so the focus of the mist, and my lovely red rose with its swimming of sight, is as black as the black above black winter's light,

o, o, o, o, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, and it's all because I have to time down the very long chimney, who has at this cow! Before I can possibly come out with virtue, I must take a war on that.

And then, perhaps I'll meet you. Don't think that I mind getting dirty like this, or it's something I really be sorry to miss. I have to go down all these silly old places to bring gifts to the children and smiles to their faces.

But before I get out and disappear soon, I'll give you a drink. It's a bit of a tune that I'll play on by shine, but I've got whiskey here. So listen, dear children, to some real Christmas cheer.
