Gun smoke brought to you by L&M filters. This is it. L&M is best. It stands out from all the rest. Around God City and in the territory on West, there's just one way to handle the killers and the spoilers, and that's with the U.S. Marshall and the smell of gun smoke.

Bring William Conrad, the trans-grud story of the violence in the move West with young America, And the story of a man who moved with it. I'm that man, Matt Dallum, United States Marshal.

The first man they look for and the last they want to meet. It's a chancey job, and it makes a man watchful. And a little lonely. Ain't that awful. Howdy, Mr. Dallum.

Just a... Oh, it's a sad thing. Maybe the cavalry does come bust me in the town, I'm getting drunk, spoiling for trouble sometimes, but I don't like seeing him coming this way. He sewed up in the sacks, laid out over their horses.

Yeah, I know, Justin. They're all making man kills the sad. And mad too. That'll be plenty like that. Well, that's certain. Look at him. Lined up all down the street, watching. Like that wheeled Bailey over there.

He's got more reason than some. Yeah, I know. His brothers in one of them sacks. Imagine him standing there watching, wondering which one. Or it's an awful sad thing. Now let's just hope there'll be no more brought in like this.

Wonderin' where you were. I guess I wasn't very hungry, Kitty.

Aww, and that cook made up some of that beef stew you like. Aha! I guess I could manage a little, then. Oh, I'll get it. You sit down. I'll be back in a minute. I'm sorry about your brother.
