The Golden Gate Quartet Sings 079

I heard those echoes calling those golden voices. Saying, yeah. Howdy neighbors, this is Tom Scott.

The Golden Gate Quartet and I would like to say hello and welcome. Welcome to a quarter hour of spirituals by the Golden Gate Quartet. Some of their rhythmic songs will set your toes to tapen. Others are rich in melody, but whatever their temple, fast or slow, these are all songs you won't forget.

Songs that speak of patience, faith and love, the hopes of all mankind. These are the spirituals of the Golden Gate Quartet. I've heard a lot of talk about the promised land, and I've heard a lot about that river Jordan, and I want to go to heaven when I die, so I can hear Jordan roll.

So roll Jordan, roll Jordan roll. Oh, well, roll Jordan roll. Well, there's a road, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to go to heaven when I die. Here, wrote Jeddon? Why don't you roll Jeddon?

Rho! Hoorah! There, were there all Jeddon? Rho! I want to go to hell. Where'd I die? Here, wrote Jeddon? Rho! Where'd the system start to bend? Yes, my lord! Just sitting in the king down to here, wrote Jeddon?

Why don't you roll Jeddon? Rho! There, wrote Jeddon? Rho! I want to go to heaven when I die to hear roll jed and roll Why don't you roll jed and roll? I want to go to heaven when I die to hear roll jed and roll Well mother, you ought to be there Yes, my lord

Just sitting in the kingdom To hear roll jed and roll I know now roll jed and roll Brother, oh, Jeddon, Lord, to go to heaven When I die to hear a road, Jeddon, Lord Well, Father, you ought to bend there Yes, my Lord Just sitting in the kingdom I do hear a road, Jeddon, Lord
