The Golden Gate Quartet Sings 049

I hear those echoes calling those golden voices. This is Tom Scott.

Won't you come along with the Golden Gate Quartet and me as we take you back? Back to the early days of America when the Bible was the source of song. Yes, then as now the Bible gave men the strength to live by.

It comforted the tired and healed the sick. These songs, based on biblical teachings, are the spirituals, the songs of the Golden Gate Quartet. Say! How did you feel when you came out of the wilderness?

Did you feel like shouting or singing or praying? Yes. You feel happy with the Spirit of the Lord. Come out the wilderness and I'm leaning on the door Well I'm a- been and I'm a- been and I don't care

But did you feel like shouting? When you come out the wilderness and I'm leaning on the door Come out the wilderness and I'm leaning on the door Did you feel like shaw it? Or would you care when you caught Ch Did you feel like praying when you come out the wilderness?

Yeah, like praying when you come out the wilderness You feel like praying when you come out the wilderness I've been in it all the long Well, I'm a thin and long I'm a thin and long Did your soul feel happy?

Come on, man, man, man, so good, When you come out, You feel the next thing you're so feelin' Oh, when you come out to build the next thing And on the Lord Well, I'm a lead, and I'm a lead Carried my mother, and it's the ship that carried my father.
