You just sit over there, or you might go and speak to Mr. Van Steen. Tell him to get a baton. I know you tell him to get a baton. You heard what happened when they said, flute the boy scout and the music crept in.

That's from conducting with no baton. A hang-nail hung down and picked up seven stray notes on the brass. So you just sit over there Harry. And now ladies and gentlemen, we bring you that genio-chappee, radio's foremost announcer, that man about clown Harry Vamzel.

Oh, dear, thank you, thank you, folks. Uh-uh, uh-uh. Thank you very much. Don't, uh-uh, no, don't, don't start bowing in those tight pants, Harry. Or this is going to sound like the Ripley program. Well, gee, you've read all that applause for me.

Why not? Why not? I've been getting all the applause up to now, Harry, and I'm tired of hoarding it. I have, uh, applause put away. I haven't heard yet. I've been so busy. Starting tonight, I'm inaugurating a cooperative plan.

Now, if there's any applause, starting tonight, if there's any applause coming to a person on his program, he's going to get it. That's all I want to know, Alan. Uh-uh, now, no heckling, Mr. Van Steeden.

Quiet, Alan. Oh. And now, ladies and gentlemen, I give you that sterling musician, the poor man's tuscany, that's lovely little guy. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Wait a minute. You slums to Kowski. What is the big... what is the big... what is the big idea?

Not so big, but what's the idea? What's the little idea? Well, Harry got a reception, didn't he? Well, so what? I'm getting mine. All right, Mr. Van Steeden. If you want the applause, you so richly merit, in my opinion, here it is.
