The Ford Dealers of America presents the Fred Allen Show. The Fred Allen Show with Fred guests, the new literary lion Mr. James A. Farley, four from half of an overpired Peter Donald's Marker family, the remarkable sisters and Al Goodman and his orchestra.

And this is Kenny Dalmar, speaking for your friendly Ford dealer. He's the man who knows your Ford from F2D and from Bumpert of Ampere. What's more, he's vitally interested in your Ford. He wants to see that it gives you the best possible service.

His mechanics of Ford trained experts working with special Ford equipment. They use methods approved by the Ford factory and genuine Ford pump. So you can expect a better job done in less time and at a lower cost when you take your Ford back home for service.

So they reported that the life expectancy of the average man is 62 and 6 tenth years. Tonight we present an average man who hopes to live to be as old as his job. How is?

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you and good evening ladies and gentlemen and for them. What is this life expectancy business? What is that? The average man is supposed to live 62 years. Oh, that's silly. That's what Mama says. What? A man can't get his social security until he's 65. Well, if he only lives to be 62.

The man will have to be dead three years before he can apply for his social security. Well, the Marshall Plan is better than that. How does that work? Well, to get money under the Marshall Plan, you have to be living, but not in this country.

And then, what about life expectancy? What is our last expectancy for this evening? Oh, I have some clipping. Oh, clipping's good. What's in the news? Last Sunday, Edgar Bergen's program wasn't on the air. No kidding. You mean Edgar's listeners didn't have a chance to hear that singing jingle, Jingle's are all all for thee!
