Hello, Duffy's Tavern, where the elite meat deed Archie the Man just speakin' Duffy ain't here. Hello, Duffy. Well, what's doing? Nothing much. We had a visit from the building inspector. I guess he likes a laugh as well as the next guy.
And I'm afraid he might give the tavern a bad report, Duffy. Yeah, he says if the timeites ever stop holding hands, the whole place will collapse. Also, made a wise crack about the way our floor slants.
You know, he says, well, he only built in town with a mice have to wear skid chains. By the way, speaking of rodents, I have to treat you as threatened to quit his job here.
Well, he's having trouble with the customers. They claim he short changes them on account of he's British. Yet he say every time he serves them alphabet, so he drops the aces. But I hate to lose the guy, Duffy.
He's got a lot of good qualities. For instance, he's got a great knack for saving our hash without that guilty expression on his face. Huh? Well, I think he got an offer from Grogans across the street, but I'm gonna try to talk him out of it.
