Archie Returns From the Hospital ( #120)

You know to doffy taverns starring Archie himself Ed Gardner Dovis town where they leave me to eat any the way to stick and don't be an archie in here. Oh, hello, mr. Dovis Yeah, I just got a telegram mr. Archie from Bellevue Hospital Huh?

What it says here says dear Eddie collect Pouncils out and am still alive. I guess only the young die good. Ah ha The nurses here are too cute for Ward. Ha ha ha. He says, my nurse never smiled.

I called her Miss Bed Pan of 1946, returning to Tavin Friday and would highly appreciate the prize party to welcome me home as I am very popular. I'm not an artist. You know what, Mrs. W, it'll be nice to have him back, won't it?

Uh-huh. Uh-huh. And tell him you said so, huh? But Mrs. W, see, I don't like to use that kind of language. And I'll have him call you when it comes in. Hey, Eddie, I've got a lot to use.

He's welcome home party, old planned. That's fine, Mrs. W. Hard work. Well, first on a count of a tonsil, I think we should give him some ice cream or, you know, something to cool us through.

How about some pig feet? That'll make him cool all over. Well, I was saving the pig feet. I thought maybe we'd have those as the last course. You know, right before the speeches. Peaches? After them, people, who's alive to make speeches?

Eddie, why do you always run down the food here? You've been serving it for five years and you're still making the same jokes about it. I'm consistent, same food, same joke. Hello, W7. Who's this?
