Guest Rudy Vallee

In cooperation with the Armed Forces Radio Service, the following broadcast is one of the radio programs selected to be short-waved to our Armed Forces overseas. Bristol Myers, the makers of Ipana, famous toothpaste and minuterev, modern chest rub, take you now to Duffy's Tavern!

Hello, Duffy's Tavern, where the elite mates need, aren't you to man just pickin' Duffy in here? Oh, look, Duffy! Duffy, you're a Samfasaur is! Yeah, I ain't listen to your voice all summer.

You know something, Duffy? It's dope, but obnoxious, and thick-headed, and ugly as you are. I miss you. No, I'm not just saying it to Flatty. No, not to get a raise, but I can see that you're the same old type fish that's dofy you hate to part with a buck, don't you?

Which by the way reminds me, Rudy Bally is coming down here tonight. You know the guy, Duffy. My... I'm a... What am I doing? I'm holding me nose. You are too, huh? Now listen, Duffy, I got an idea that might double our business, maybe even travel or quibble it. Well here's the idea. Belly's back on a radio and I'm gonna try to

get her to put on his broadcast on the joint here every week. Well maybe you think so. Maybe I think so but if the rule what's our opinion against the million stupid names. Well leave me handle it Tuffy I'll call you back later Okay.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the gallery opening of Duffy's Tavern. Come in and meet Finnegan, Eddie the Waiter, Miss Duffy, Madi Malle, like in his orchestra, our special guest tonight, Rudy Valle, and Archie himself, Ed Gardner.
