Destination Freedom. Promotizations of the great democratic traditions of the Negro people is brought to you by Station WMAQ as a part of the patching of history and of America's own Destination Freedom. There are few modern dances with excited the imagination of the theatrical world as much as Illinois-born Catherine Dummel.

One of the great interpreters of Caribbean dances, the Northern choreographer and her troops have become figures of international significance. In a chapter entitled, dance and propologist, Destination Freedom presents the Dunham story. Oh, oh. Was that the midnight when I heard the drums?

And I thought I would dream. Down the drums, it'd turn all around me when I came down the hasty. When I went down into the valley, they seemed to beat under the ground I walked on.

But when I went looking for them in the hills, they'd be a silent. Then, on this night, someone woke me. Charles, this was Charles. Wake up, sir. I had gone to sleep with my clothes on.

I had been waiting for this to happen, so the lab made it to wake me. My little Charles, ready? The old woman said she'd take me where the drums be. Here, Charles. Drink this, you feel the spirit.

She handed me a black bottle of white gin. She took my hair. She came to live with your blood thin, Charles. Nobody believed you were a relative at mine. Nobody's been leaving his mind. He has no good feeling to finish the battle.

Come on little child. Come on. Before the dead and the old man. Everybody's gone home. Follow me. We went out of the house into the underbrush. She was ahead. Prior to the death one. I followed her down the steep here.
