ep06 First Song - The Old Country Church

Once again everybody, we hope you're feeling fine wherever you are. This is Alvin and Raven, the Delmore Brothers in Wayne Rainey with an all sacred program, so you keep listening.

Well, thank you very much, Sarah Wayne Rainey and Fred. And my dear Wayne Rainey and friends, we are glad to be here with you. And about our all sacred song album here, friends. And I'm telling you that man, we got so many fine songs in this book, you just can't.

And you know, we just happy to be here singing these fine old hymns for you. Yes, sir. Now, Raven, you come on up here and pick one of these fine old songs out. And we'll just start in right away on the throne.

Okay, Alton, I'd like to say hello out there, everybody. Glad to be back with you again. And we're singing that out of our all-spake kids' song album that we'll be telling you about in just a minute or two.

The first one here that we're going to do is the Kiro Alton and laying on myself and swinging for you. The old country, yes. So you know friends those days bring back a lot of memories for you.

You know maybe it'd be the hot weather and you remember there was bible and everything and all the fine things. And that's when the half-inch day was spent. The old country, it gets through. I don't ever forget the time and all of us boys.

You know, Wayne was raised over there in Arkansas and we was raised in Alabama. We remember those happy things and these songs friends are kind of things that bring those memories and those kind of feelings back There you the best and the most happy time in your life friends There's a song that you sang and make you remember events like that
