Ladies and gentlemen, Dennis Day! Every song I sing! A day in the life of Dennis Day! Here's Dennis to sing, I don't care if the sun don't shine. I don't care if the sun don't shine, I get my loving in the evening time.

And with my baby, it's no fun with the sun around. But I get going when the sun kiss and kiss and then we kiss them all Don't ask how many times we kiss at a time like this who keeps going I don't care if the sun don't shine I'll get my lovin' in the evening time

When all I baby That's when we kiss and then we kiss them all Don't ask how many times we kiss at a time like this who keeps going. I don't care if the sun don't shine. I'll get a lovin' in the evening."

Well, even in Hollywood, it seems it's the custom for a boy to take his best girl to the movies on Saturday night. And Dennis Day is not one to fly in the face of tradition.

So every Saturday evening he calls for his new girlfriend Patricia at 730 sharp. The Walk to Gremen's Chinese Theater takes ten minutes, and at exactly 740, you can find Dennis looking at the footprints in the lobby while his girl stands in line for the tickets.

And then after some two and a half hours of movies and popcorn, the couple are homeward bound once more, walking slowly, reliving the pleasure and excitement of the evening. Oh, Dennis, wasn't it just too wonderful? Wasn't it perfect?

Oh, gee, I don't know, Patricia. Personally, I thought it was too salty and there wasn't enough butter on it. Not the popcorn silly, the movie. Oh, the movie. Yeah, it wasn't bad. Wasn't bad. It was marvelous.
