Dennis Day, Dink Trout, and yours truly Vern Smith in cooperation with the National Safety Council bring you an unsafe day in the life of Dennis Day. Dennis was moving into a new apartment last week and to save money he decided to carry the furniture over himself.

Well thank you Mr. Aniston. I'm moving this furniture myself to save money so I can marry a daughter Mildred. Well that's alright with me Dennis, but I don't see how you and Mildred can get married on the twenty dollars a week you make.

Oh that's easy Mr. Aniston. When you're in love with Mildred and I are a week flies by so fast you don't even need twenty dollars. Well that's the way I felt before I married my Pupsey. Only the first month we were married she spent my salary for a year on new clothes. Said she wanted other folks to see how happy
