Mmm I'll say it's not even his birthday Eh well Ben why are you giving him a party? Well I never can surprise him on his birthday because he knows it's his birthday And besides just yesterday he said to me he said he said Gracie I been married to you for 15 years and nothing you do surprises me

I think joyful is birthday Well, I'm going down to Baker's gift shop and get him a whole lot of little things.

And for an extra surprise, I'm going to have his initials engraved on his watch and his cigarette lighter and his fountain pen. What can you take them without him knowing it? They're already in my purse.

I sat on his lap after breakfast and ran one hand through his hair and the other through his pocket. Well, I never... Well, you should try some time of fun. I love that. Oh George, you're home early as an I expected.

Yes. Hello Blanche. Hello George. And I'll be running along Gracie. See you later. Bye Blanche. I'm worried. Worry? Yeah. When I got downtown, I discovered my watch and my fountain pen were missing. Oh well stop worrying. Maybe somebody stole them.
