Another cup of Maxwell House Coffee, George. Sure. Pour me a cup, Gracy. You know Maxwell House is always good to the last. Yay! Right. That dropped good, too. Yes, it's Maxwell House Coffee Time starring George Burns and Gracie Allen.

With your schooly Toby Reed, Gail Gordon, Hans-Caudry, Elliott Lewis, Meredith Wilson and the Maxwell House Orchestra, and Bill Goodwin. For America's Thursday night comedy enjoyment, it's George and Gracie. And for America's everyday coffee drinking enjoyment, it's Maxwell House.

Always good to the last drop. I think we'd be safe in saying that George Burns' life is never dull. Gracie sees to that. As we join them now, we find Gracie telling George about her new interest, spiritualism.

What? Spiritualism. Oh, it's wonderful, George. This medium, swami arbol, goes into a trance, and I talk to people in another world. What a ragged. How much does this medium charge you to talk to that other world?

Oh, it's raised a very reasonable dollar for the first three minutes. And 50 cents for each additional minute. It's certainly worth that to talk to Julia Caesar. You talked to Caesar? I had a long talk with him yesterday.

And you know something about him? He's very stingy. C's a stingy. He wouldn't let me reverse the charges. Probably spending all his money on Cleopatra. I talked to her too. But she's a sociable girl.

Yeah, dear. You know, I was surprised to find she had a Brooklyn accent. I say this Cleopatra is our front. I say this whole thing is a break. Nobody can talk to season Cleopatra.

I can, George. Swami Abbot says I'm unusually receptive to messages from the other world. He says I'm no ordinary woman. That I've known for years. He said my whole body is like a delicately turned radio with a large vacuum tube on top.
