This is Bill Goodwin speaking for Lever Brothers, makers of Swan, the new white floating soap that's purer than finest Castilles. Well, it's Tuesday night again, time for another pleasant visit with George Burns and Gracie Allen, Jimmy Cash, Paul Whiteman and his music, and the Swan Ted who open our show with Hitcholl Dobbins to the Shea again.
To the Shea again, you won't do the car anymore. Old Dobbins remember he's shady lane. My dad and mom went swimming, that led to honeymooning. It's all govin' to the shade again. Like bandady, he'll be to the shade again.
You won't be using your car. Meet the people who live in the Burns House. George and Gracie, here they are. Oh, spring is here. And like most other housewives, Gracie is in the attic of the Burns home, starting in on her spring cleaning.
However, most other housewives would consider the feather duster she's using quite unusual, Say the least. Now do you get the idea Herman? Uh-huh. Alright, now you just back up to the furniture and wiggle your tail until it's all dusted.
Understand? That's why I won't have to vacuum the whole place. I'll just have to vacuum you. Alright now we'll start with this old trunk. Wiggle away Herman. Oh no, no, no Herman! The dust is flying all over the place.
You've got to dust more carefully. Wiggle your tail slowly and deliberately. Ha ha! Ha ha ha! Oh, you like to do that, huh? Chocolate, it isn't dignified. How do you think Mama would look doing a thing like that?
Ugh. Ah. Herman, I think you've been singing, Tiley. Too many drawers, he'll have more pictures. How are you getting on, dear? Oh, fine, George. Herman, you may go to your room now. Go on, Herman.
