Good evening, there's Bill Goodwin speaking for Lever Brothers, makers of Swan, the new white floating soul. Well, it's Tuesday night again, time for another pleasant visit with George Burns and Gracie Allen, their guests, Madeline Carol, Jimmy Cash and Paul Whiteman and his music.
And now meet the people who live in the Burns House, George and Gracie! Well, George and Gracie have just arrived in New York City with their little duck Herman. And here they are about to enter the lobby of one of Manhattan's large hotels.
Wait a minute, Gracie, you better hide Herman. Never allow a duck in a hotel like this. Oh yes. A Herman, you jump into Mama's hat box. Grat, Grat. Oh, yes. Now, his mama's friend is in camera.
So what the later? Let's go and register. All clear. Yes. This hotel is jammed to the doors. We don't need you. Well, he's right, George. You know, I've heard that they're so crowded here. The Tommy Manvall is in the same room with his wife?
Well, that's pretty crowded. Boy, take this luggage up to 3311. Oh, give me that hat, Bob. What? What's made that noise? Oh, well, Jod, you better take some bicarbonate. Oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah. Madam, what is in that hat, Bob?
Don't you think it was a duck? Ha, ha. I've seen a lot of hats, but that's the first one I've ever heard. Oh, oh, well, this is one of the new Hollywood hats They're wearing them very loud this year.
Gracie, come on. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Boy, will you please send our breakfast up right away? Where's the Are? Yes, Madam. We like two glasses of orange juice, two cups of coffee, some toast, and a half a dozen worms.
