Clyde Winston Photographer

Good evening, Miss Anderson. Good evening, Joe. Table for two. The best in Joe King's fraternity house, Miss Anderson, for the prettiest model in the city.

That's what you tell every model who comes in here, Joe, and don't deny it. I want every model in the city comes in here and eats one of them is the prettiest. You're meeting the unusual, unusual young man tonight?

No, I'm having dinner with Clyde Winston, the photographer. We'd like a rather quiet table to talk business. Oh, I'll give you the quietest table in the place. I'd like this way, Miss Anderson. Thanks. I was at Mr. Winston Studio this afternoon who wants to talk about giving me a contract.

I've been trying for a contract with him for a long time. So is every other model? You don't know. Well, how about this table? Well, this one will be perfect, Joe. Thanks. I'll wait for Mr. Winston before I order.

Oh, of course. Uh-oh. Maybe you'd like to switch to a table for free. Why do you say that? Well, here comes your regular young man. And he looks as if he's looking for you. But one isn't he?

Shall I? Never mind. He's already seen me. Hello, Bill. Well, I'll be seeing you too. Thank you, Joe. Bill, what are you doing here? I told you this morning I was meeting Clyde Winston this afternoon and made a date with him to have dinner.

You met him this afternoon. Yes, at about four. Why? Why? Yes. Because this afternoon at about four o'clock, Clyde Winston was murdered. Now on to Dick Colmer as Boston Blackie. Enemy to those who make him an enemy.
