Cobbs Trucking Company

You're on your debt with the cops. Okay, Joe, stick here in the office. I want to talk you have to worry about. Good enough, I'm right here. Hello, John. That's right. There's any more. No, why not?

Why not? I say you're mixed up with a crooked gang, and they don't want that stuff hauled by no crooks. That's what you just told me. Well, John, you're not going to listen to talk like that, are you?

Look, you had a habit for years of marking $10 bills with your initials. You said it was because you wanted to see if one of them came back to you. What about it? A lot of people do that.

Maybe you had some crooked reason for that too, even though I don't know what it is right now. But what do you have? A lot of straightening out to be done. And you're gonna straighten them out or I'm gonna straighten you out, permanently.

And now on to the calmer as Boston Blackie. Enemy to those who make him an enemy. Friend. To those who have no friend. Special job, we're on, eh? Well, there's more to think of our position to get after a killer.

We got a license number. The city police report is heading this way. All we got to do is nab him if he comes by. Our boys driving a coupe. Name's Vail, John Vail. Some guy in his trucking company told the cops he had a fight over the phone with his partner.

The partner is missing, so is Vail's car. So old. So we park here and see if the tip that Vail's heading this way was McCoy. Here comes a character that's practically insulting us. He's going 60.
