Only One Way Out For Me

I don't know what you can tell Mr. Kingston, sir, is credit manager insisted we pay him the money we owe his firm and pay it immediately.

I'll tell him something. If he ever gets on this telephone, I've been holding a line waiting for him for five minutes now. I tried to tell the credit manager we'd take care of them out of Mr. Burton, but he wouldn't listen.

And frankly, sir, I've run out of excuses. I understand. I think... Oh. This Kingston now. Oh, Charlie. Charlie, this is Ralph Burton. Oh, hello, man. I have a memorandum on my desk to call you.

I know I called because I want to explain about that money, we owe you. The amount is $30,000, isn't it? Yes, and Charlie, I don't have it. I'm up against a brick wall right now.

I'm pressed for cash. You've got to give me time. I'd gladly give you another $30. I won't kid you, Charlie. There's no way I can pay you now. Bankruptcy will only ruin me permanently. Give me time, please.

Yours isn't my only obligation. Everybody wants money. I don't want to appear. Yes, I suppose that's right. This isn't your fault, Charlie. There's only one solution to my problem. Yes, I'm afraid there's only one way out for me.

And now meet Dick Palmer as Boston Blackie. Enemy to those who make him an enemy. Friend to those who have no friend. Coming. Well, hello, Mary, come on in. Thanks, Blackie. Are you spending a quiet evening at home?

I was. Till now. I wasn't supposed to pick you up for half an hour, right? Yes, but I had to do some shopping and I found myself near here, so I thought I'd drop in and save you the trip.
