The Murdering Cuckoo Clock

Lady, there doesn't seem to be much wrong with this watch of yours. It's hard to hear it, though, with all these other clocks ticking.

Well, I'm also glad that mine's not too bad. How's it may have a test? Well, I don't see why you can't have it tomorrow. So sure, wonderful. Well, there's very little wrong with it. Now, I've got a pen proof.

Now, if you give me your name... Oh, yes, of course. It's Wesley. Mary Wesley. Mary Wesley. Are you the Mary Wesley who's always seen with Mr. Boston Black? Oh yes, Blackie and I do run around together.

That is when he isn't running after murderer. Alright, I'll be in tomorrow. Thank you very much. Goodbye, Miss Wesley. Hi, Dad. Oh, well, dear, my boy, I didn't know you were in the shop. Yes, I was back preparing that clock in Mrs. Williamson.

Oh, fashion thing, isn't it? a beautiful piece of work, my boy. We don't very often see clocks like that these days. No, I guess not. Say, Dad, at another type of clock you don't see much of anymore. What kind is that, Walter? The kind with a poison needle in the winding key. Do you ever see

one of them? Yes, I did. In fact, I saw one in the clock shop about two or thirty years ago. Certainly looked innocent. I guess it was supposed to. Could we make a clock like That could we make one?

Well, well, that's a strange thing to add. Not so strange, Dad. I just wondered if we could make a clock that would kill somebody. And now on to Dick Colmer as Boston Blackie, enemy to those who make him an enemy, friends to those who have no friends.
